I remember in the buu sega everyone used to assume piccolo was weak because they didn't show him train. But piccolo confirmed it while gohan is just studying he's out training. Piccolo pass Mssj long time ago😭. |

If that were the case then Piccolo would have had zero issues taking down Tagoma. He didn't improve that much until after Resurrection 'F'. |

You do realize piccolo still had his weight clothes on against Tagoma? And tagoma could have been at Ssj 3 level or super buu level for all we know. |

I dunno about in Super, but in the RoF movie, weightless Piccolo is about equal to Shishami, who SSj Gohan beat in one punch. I think in Super it's a similar situation, but with Tagoma replacing Shishami. Tagoma beats everyone, including Piccolo, but gets beat by SSj Gohan. So it seems like Piccolo was between base and SSj Gohan at that time, and now he's surpassed SSj Gohan. Assuming both were going all out last episode, Piccolo seems to be weaker than SSj2 Gohan, but Gohan's weakness of letting his guard down caused him to lose. He's definitely weaker than ultimate Gohan. |

Yeah; I thought the implication was clear that this was Piccolo's strength post-ROF but more specifically post the Universe fight with 6. Piccolo (to me) appears to either be around Gohan's SSJ2 level (I think he's just a little to somewhat above given the end of their fight as in 88) but below Mystic. |

Piccolo taking off his weights doesn't really increase his power as much as it used to. I guarantee taking it off would have done him no good against Tagoma. Gohan took him down easily as a Super Saiyan. |

It's obvious Ultimate Gohan was out of Piccolo's league. He was handling all of Piccolo's clones simultaneously, and then chopped Piccolo's arm off with ease. He lost because he let his guard down. SSJ2 Gohan and Piccolo was much closer, but I would still give the edge to Gohan. He beat Piccolo in close quarters, and it's implied by Piccolo's dialogue that Gohan lost because he still wasn't taking the fight as seriously as he should have been, and he had his guard down. Piccolo =< SSJ2 Gohan <<< Ultimate Gohan I'm OK with that. It doesn't really give an indication of where Gohan is without his Ultimate power, though. Edited by Pyrus, Apr 30 2017, 07:05 PM.

I personally have Piccolo over the SSJ2 threshold. I think what pissed him off is Gohans head in a***. See that s*** eating grin as a SSJ2 when looking at Piccolo. It's cell big head arrogance again and then it trumps up again in Mystic. I prersonally remember Gohan being stronger in ROF and came up with this Gohans Base (ssj Gohan at the Cell Games) Ssj Gohan (Gohans SSJ2 power) SSJ2 Gohan (Mystic) Ultimate Gohan (stronger than ever before) There is no logic to Gohan being stronger than Piccolo in base if his base isn't around Cell Games ssj level. Piccolo was below Trunks and Vegeta then, which is below Goku, which is till far from Gohan. Piccolo is stronger than ever. I personally have him weighted at Gotenks or Super Buu level, unweighted as pushing Gohans peak power from then. Gohan is and will just be stronger as he's been training his body for a while now but hadn't learned his lessons yet. Hell he told Goku he would show him how strong he had got again before the exhibition match. I think he caught up to where he was and Piccolo pushed him past it I just want Gohan to end up between Goku post ssj God wearing offf vs Beerus and enraged Vegeta at Bulma being slapped. That's enough for me Edited by Kblo247, Apr 30 2017, 10:22 PM.

What that supposed to mean? Frost did the same thing then got his punches blocked with one hand. Piccolo let frost shoot him in the leg just like he let gohan chop his arm. So he can catch gohan off gaurd to end him quickly. Really all Ssj 2 gohan did was kick piccolo away which did nothing. Piccolo choked him out with ease if gohan was stronger he would had simply over power that. I have piccolo =< mys gohan for sure. Edited by Amerson26, May 7 2017, 05:45 AM.

Ultimate Gohan >>> SSJ2 Gohan >~ Picoolo (weightless) > Picoolo (weighted) > SSJ Gohan > Gohan (ep88) >>> Lavender > Good Buu (Zen Tourney) > Basil (amped) >> Basil This what I got as for their standing so they would both easily clear Cell Games at least. What really throws my chain off is Goku and Gohan's spar though. It doesn't make sense unless the difference in power with Basil and Lavender is as huge as the SSJG boost. Cause SSJ Goku >~ SSJ Gohan and SSJ Goku also used Super Saiyan against Beerus while also being stated he never lost power. Another option I guess is that Good Buu has already surpassed Super Saiyan God too, that way Basil and Lavender are at least relative to each other. What do y'all think, cause I can't determine how strong these guys are? |

Goku starts calling him saiyaman so of course he's holding back to boost his ego. He even tells him he is strong at the exhibition matches and goes to Piccolo after only to bluntly say he basically expected better which prompts Piccolo to push him there physically and mentally by telling him all his faults. Goku held back on Krillin before their first trip in the forest and says how much fun he had messing with Krillin in the turtle suit. It's only after we leave the forest that we here Goku remark out loud stuff like he has trained with Krillin, Krillins learned new skills, he can handle himself, he's someethinf else, Gohan can learn from Krillin (who admits he held back on Gohan), and tells 17 of course Krillin will fight as he's stronger than ever before. Goku boosted their egos before the arc started with the stuff he did with them. Then he directly pushed them into something more as both took it serious and found out why they fight again. And they got stronger. The whole point of the mini arc before this was to get us to remember why those two were 2 of the top 5 cast members in Z and get their fire back. They improved and then we moved on to showing the others. We see Buu loves fighting like he did when he first met Goku, even the thought of killing still as he's training to kill. We see Piccolo keeps pushing forward and improving, keeps teaching, and can catch up to ssj levels again after being looked down on. We see 17 introduced as a powerful being again just like when we first met him. We see 18 still loves money and will fight and train for it. We see Tien is a joke like in Z at actual combat minus tribeam. We see Roshi doing what Roshi did in all of dragonball for the budokai, train off panel and hide his power from his pupils. Lastly Vegeta has uber confidence. Vegeta isn't even training despite being told toppo can match Gokus blue Edited by Kblo247, May 7 2017, 05:28 PM.

I already explained why I consider Piccolo only on par with SSJ2 Gohan in the post you quoted. You can have Piccolo stronger than Beerus for all I care, but he wasn't that impressive to me. |
